about basins and contact lenses

the soflens comfort company were over in taylor's yesterday. (point to note: softlens company = company that sells contact lenses)

there was this huge promotional bus, something like the intrakota, parked smack in the middle of the courtyard of the college. i admit, i kinda like the bus, coz it was huge and blue.

so as usual-lah, the kei-po-chi-ness factor in us emerged, and some of us decided to go ahead and give it a shot as they were giving free trials to anyone who was willing to give it a shot.

the results?????????

a) john goh
- looks better without the glasses. he seems to be quite happy with the results. quote, "i feel very liberated", unquote.
took a reasonable amount of time to get the lenses on. kembang-lah after he got it on. it popped off though in the library.
recent comments,
quote, "i think i'm starting to get addicted to this (the lenses)", unquote

b) steven
- took quite long to get it on. blamed his fat fingers for it.
he was on the verge of giving up. caught saying, "aper ni???? and teruklah teruk"
finally got it on, but couldn't get it off.
finally came off though. he didn't wear it to coll though the next day. supposedly coz' his lenses were of the wrong power.

c) yi ping
- stunning, vibrant, beautiful.
she looks loads better without the glasses. seriously. took an ok ok amount of time to get the lenses on. was the only calm one throughout the whole trying out thingie.

d) yu yee
- quite panicky during the trial process. worried about taking the lenses off. the OTHER who msged me about the removal of the lenses, and worrying if her bath would affect her eyes, should the shampoo suds go into her eyes. i'm used to seeing her without her glasses anyway, so i'd say not much difference. but beautiful all the same =P

e) tze meng
- ...........i'm basically speechless bout this fella-lah.
took REALLY REALLY REALLY long to get the lenses on. i even had to remove MY own lenses as to demonstrate the proper technique of getting the lenses on. asked me loads of DUH questions, to which i answered impatiently to. haha..but he finally got it on, so i guess i'm happy for him.
he removed the lenses successfully, and gave me a call proclaiming his success.
he looks ok ok with the lenses, but he'll supposedly only wear it to coll AFTER he gets his hair cut. LOL. talk about being fussy/vain.

and i guess that's it. porcupine (my new acclaimed name for michelle =P) tried on the lenses too, but since she already wears them anyway, it's not fair if i make a comment (huhu). but she's pretty in both lenses and glasses, so i guess that says it all-lah????? (porcupines don't kembang k????????hahhahahahah)

p/s: i like the basin in the promotional bus. very cool. washed my hands there a few times for no apparent reason. =P
