back from the realm of death

ok..ok..pardon the sudden lack of posts from yours truly. i've been rather distracted away from the world of blogging lately, and honestly, i forgot all about this blog that i've set up until michelle kinda reminded me about it. LOL. I guess that's what friends are for- to pull u back to earth.thx..

updates updates...

a) another S2-rian has left the S2 clan
- my dear friend nai chen (member of the qi miao miao) has left taylors to go pursue his future at kdu for he got the jpa scholarship!!!! so it's actually quite cool, but sad at the same time.

oh well, as issac said, this is life, ppl come and go, and the only thing u can do is to remember and cherish the memories spent together. well said, i say.

and honestly, yea...i do miss nai chen. LOL. no more lame jokes in class, and less one skinny person. but the best part is, nai chen will be coming back to visit us quite often!!!so that's a lot eaiser to handle..

so to nai chen, all the best yea!!!!have fun in kdu!!!take care!!!take care!!!

b) i am soooo in to the i-river
- lets just say, i kinda got influenced by my darling socialites, and i can't wait til i get one!!..IF..i get one that is. my life is dull without music.

c) the change of hair
- currently, my hair is shoulder length, with a difference in hair colour.

what happened was i decided to chop my 'broomstick-hair' off as it was really getting too long. so i headed off to the salon, and went through approximately 3 hours of attention from 2 different hair stylist, and my, my, i NEVER want to go through that again.

the owner (and i presume the most "pakar" in hair styling) decided that i may want to redye my hair again, and she suggested that dark brown would and SHOULD be the colour of my choice.

to recall, my hair was dyed with a lightish brownish copperish reddish colour before the latest visit to the salon, and of course since i liked the old colour, i gave her the eye-brow look and said, are you sure?

and she said, yea, yea, quite sure and all that. and instead, she suggested i add in high-lights. and so, since i was quite curious what high lights would look like on me, i decided to go along with it.

i then queried about the texture of my hair, and insisted that with the dying and high lighting, my hair would turn rather dreadful and would be more of a disaster than a dream come true. the solution???

hair treatment. (AIIIIIIII!!!!!!!)

so to cut it all short, my hair got washed about 4 times in one day.
unbelivable?you better believe it. (quoted; dean cain; ripley's believe it or not; AXN; 8.00 pm)

this is how it went:
1) hair cut on a saturday, this was when she suggested i redye my hair and highlight and so on so forth. i decided to come back the next day to dye my hair due to lack of time.

2) went and got my hair dyed. then washed.

3) went and got my hair high-lighted. then washed.

4) went and got my hair treated. then washed.

5) went home, hated the smell of my hair which was loaded with chemicals, looked at the mirror, sat and thought for awhile. then washed.

so there u have it!!! 4 hair washes in one day. sheeshhhh

d) i never really knew my birthday was coming so soon
- lol. thanks to someone, i now know when my birthday is, in terms of the day and week.
i always thought it was on a thursday 2 weeks from now, until someone told me that it's NEXT week and on a TUESDAY. i must really be lost in my own world. or maybe i just DON'T want to grow up that fast. i'm turning 17 soon. that makes me......older. sigh. the realities of life are harsh.

e) a big dissapoinment
- from previous posts, i have stated how excited and into war of the worlds i was. well, i've been really looking forward for that movie ever since i first saw the preview, and well, when i finally got the chance to watch it, DAMN, dissapointed i was.

well, not to spoil it for you guys, but the movie is alright up til mr. spielberg decides to cut everything short. so everything ends rather abruptly, and therefore the plot is kinda disrupted, and the ending is rather unbelievable (in a bad way) and dumb as well. DONT check it out.

ooh, and just to include some funny bits, i kinda made a noise somewhere during the movie which sounded somewhere between a shriek and a scream.

*intense bit of the movie is being played on screen. aliens are seen crawling here and there, and su wen senses something scary is about to happen*(btw, i watched the movie with a total of 15 ppl, which is a rather big outing, and so we were sitting in two long rows)

*suwen decides to hugs michelle's jacket, and then giving it back to her as it was not fluffy enough to hug. suwen picks up her bagpack and proceeds to hug it tightly, preparing to hide behind it if needed.*

*suwen suddenly feels something at her neck area, kinda like a big fat insect which was flying and then decided to land on her neck (btw, su wen hates insects). so su wen lets out a funny like noise, and jumps.*

*su wen turns to find wei chuen and nai chen laughing (they were sitting beside me, wei chuen on my right, and nai chen on my further right). su wen then realizes that the big fat insect, was in fact, popcorn!!!!!!*

*suwen whacks wei chuen and asks both of them who threw the popcorn. both denies, and insists that the aliens from the screen threw it at me* ....aiiii....

next episode......SKINNY WARS (both nai chen and wei chuen are skinny =P): revenge of THE su wen

f) water gun fights
- well, esl lessons were much more interesting with water gun fights in class!!!
as my group's drama presentation needed guns as props, i decided to bring some guns, one of which was a cool water gun.

one day, i loaded the gun with water, and sprayed at a few ppl in class while Miss ting was giving a lecture on goodness knows what. and soon, everyone was asking for the water gun, and we were spraying each other with water. so, to sum it up, i got a lil wet, and some got wet in the face and all that. BRILLIANT!!!! (note to self: water gun fights brightens a class anytime..anyday..)

while we're on the topic of esl, it was really fun staying back to practise and prepare the backdrop for the presentation. crayons were used to fill in the colour, and sounds were downloaded of the internet as effects (maybe not so THX-ish..but good enough =P). and one thing i may point out, crayons make good weapons!!!! crayon fights everyday for about one week!!!!!the best way for total enjoyment!!!!

and so...there you have it!!!!hahah..a pretty long comeback post eh??pictures will be posted up soon..and to the U.S.A, happy independence day!!!!!!!(one day delay)....as dear tunku abdul rahman said....MERDEKA!!!MERDEKA!!!MERDEKA!!!!MERDEKA!!!!MERDEKA!!!MERDEKA!!!MERDEKA!!!

~loving all you guys out there~
