i just found a lump at my neck area. it's rather large for a lump. and my parents are frightened over it. here's the reason why...
about a couple of years back, my mom had a lump at her neck area as well. turned out to be a tumour and she had to go for an operation to remove it.
so as u may have guessed, i may have a tumour at my neck area too. they're starting to get really worried, and have been bombarding me with questions, questions like:
i) how long has it been there???
-suwen doesn't know!!no one goes about touching and feeling their necks everyday!!!!
ii) are u still sick??
-i'm still left coughing since the last time i fell sick. have been coughin for a few weeks now
iii) see la..sleep so late somemore!!!
-uh..what does sleeping late have to do with a maybe-tumour in my neck???
iv) STOP using THOSE STUFF U ALWAYS USE!!!!
- referring to the lipbalm (lipice brand) that i've only been starting to use LATELY, since my lips are kinda dry
so, for now, the plan is to keep track on the size of the lump.
by next wed, if the size remains the same, or if it gets bigger, i've got to make an appointment with my mom's doctor (the one who treated her the last time) and he's located in melaka so that my uncle (a doctor as well) can keep track over the ongoings of the whole operation.
this incident is quite coincidential as well, as i was planning to go back to melaka anyway on a friday for an attachment. funny how things just fall into place sometimes, doesn't it?
ah well, lets just hope that this lump doesn't turn out to be anything serious, and that it is just an over-active limp note that has swelled due to my sickness over the past few weeks.
