AUSTRALIA
hello to everybody!!!!!! i know it's been super long since i blogged, but here i am!!!i'm bLOGGING!!!..finally says u..LOL
well..i've been here in melbourne for bout, 2 weeks now.
it's been rather enjoyable so far.
i arrived on tuesday, the 14th of february at the airport and had to queue up REALLY Long for customs and immigrations and stuff. got on the "transportation" bus, and headed over to monash uni. we just got dumped at the carpark and were left to go find out information of our own. cruel, eh?? it looked pretty much like this.
then we shifted in to our own individual rooms.
honestly speaking, the moment i stepped into my room, i hated it. i really really hated it. i regretted ever choosing this hall, and i regretted ever choosing this place. i just HATED it. i felt really home sick, and i called my parents to tell them i was quite upset with my room.
i mean, the room is quite nice actually, but being here on my own for the very first time, and not being left in luxury, my "stuck-up and spoilt" hormones came into play.
that first day, i met a few frens, most from malaysia, and we bonded well. very very well.
the next nite, we were already goin to each other's rooms to hang out and chat.
that is exactly how i started to blend in to australia, and how i came to see what things really are, and how i started loving my room.
i like my room now. A LOT.
i can't imagine living anywhere else.....^ ^
it's really cool how the halls here work. to sum things up, the residential service on campus is divided into 5 halls, which i am living in richardson hall. we have this community like thing which manages events and activities for richos (or also known as richard-rians). so basically, we have events and activities all the time so that we feel at home. 2nd nite in australia, and i'm already goin to victoria nite market with a whole bunch of ppl. how cool is that.
every other day was also filled with activities which included bowling, go-karting, some laser shooting maze thing and so on so on.
and we get loadsa free food!!!!mostly barbequed stuff, and i'm not really complaining. i mean, i don't have to worry bout my food source!!!so that's good
unfortunately, since uni is already starting, activities for the richos will be lessened, but active nonetheless.
so anyway, i'm gonna sign off for now, but i'll still be blogging every once in awhile. so i'll keep in touch with u all k???

waa, ur monash life is really startin to pick up huh XD lucky u found some m'sian friends O_o hehe, i wonder how long will it take u to come back with an accent :P
