THE GREAT SUNWAY TRIP

*sigh*
the day after the class outing and i'm still fantasizing about it although i DID suffer the consequences of the ice skatin activity. LOL. no complains there however.

so, this is a short summary about wat happened yesterday, that of 20th april 2005.

as me, tzemeng, and issac had a drama club meeting to attend, we ended up goin at 4 plus while the others went directly after college, with albert as mr. driver. michelle came with us too after she went back to her apartment to change to pants. so, we happily trotted off to tze meng's car which was quite far away, me being in my hyper mood already. catching a whiff of pandan (tzemeng's attempt at a natural nice-smelling aroma), we all got into the car, me having no idea of what to expect of tzemeng's driving. but all i can say is, ok-la..not so bad-loh..LOL
but he takes turns at a very high speed, resulting in my buckling up of the seat belt. and me insisting that michelle put on her seat belt as well.

when we reached pyramid, we saw john having a very good go at new skating tricks from the top floors above where u can see all on the rink over the railing. he's not bad really. screamed a few times at john to say hi, went unnoticed though. looked for steven, but couldn't locate him.

anyhow, original plan was to skate at point of arrival a.k.a. 4 ++..unfortunately, they had to clean the ice, leaving all four of us walking around pyramid with no real sense of direction. result??we ended up trying some foreign delicacies (from Thailand i think). me and michelle shared this bowl of sticky rice and mango with lemak all over it, tzemeng and issac shared one too. not bad really, but after awhile, michelle and i got 'jelak-ed' of it. threw the 'baki' away.

so, we started skatin at bout 5.30-ish. got into the rink, all of us feeling pretty unstable. we held on to the sides, and tried skatin about, but argh, it was just so frustrating the first few seconds.then i decided to let go of the sides, and skated about in the rink. ALMOST fell a few times though. LOL. mostly, i stared in wonderment at the pro-skaters. they are just SO GOOD AT IT!!!
john and steven were already on the ice as we entered. after we got the hang of it, we were brave enough to skate without the help of the 'walls'. steven (also a major pro at skating) was kind enough to provide some assistance to us amateurs. he brought us around the rink giving us a feel of what it would be like to skate at high speed around the rink. he skates damn damn well.ok..i'll admit..i'm jealous..=P

yu yee then came to join us. whoa. she's not bad really. she got used to the ice a lot faster than we did. so we skated loh..skated..skated..skated..legs were quite aching already.LOL.
ooh..this is how i fell

steven, tzemeng and yuyee came to my aid
*pulls suwen up..uurrghhhh..took a lot to get me standing again. i was laughin too much*

so anyway, i got a slight cut on the elbow, and my butt stil hurts. i hope everyone who fell is ok though.LOL.

i enjoyed kacau-ing jason soh and issac who were at the sides watching in. i gave this peace sign everytime i passed them, jason replying in a very selamba peace sign as well.(he got sick of replying after awhile, and just gave me "the look" everytime i peaced him.LOL)

anyhow, tzemeng, yuyee, and jason had to leave early(issac left earlier). so we all went to the parking lot to send them off, also because i left my things in his car. so we walked to his car, and we kinda played a prank on yu yee..LOL.i'm so sorry yu yee!!!haha..she was really sporting though.

steven and i then decided to watch a movie. michelle was going to watch one with her apartment mates, and i felt like watching a movie too, coz it's been really long since i saw one. so we were comtemplating on which show to catch, and us deciding on SAMARA..wow...can u imagine, suwen, chicken-heart, watching a horror movie??there were a few tickets left, and so we decided to come back later for the cancellation of reservation tickets.

we went for dinner at waffle world.yum.very nice.will go back there soon(michelle and steven ordered waffle with banana and ice cream, i ordered banana fritters with ice cream and caramel..YUM). at 8.40, michelle left to catch her movie, spanglish, while steven and i finished up. we then headed to TGV at 8.50 to get our tickets.WHOA..the queue was really long, but we waited anyway.

in the cinema, i hugged my bag really really tight, coz i was scared.LOL. throughout the movie, i made sudden movements and i supposed i frightened steven as well.haha(sorry, man!!)..he kept trying to take the bag away from me and i just kept resisting. i missed quite a bit of the show, as i blocked my face during the scary scenes.the ENDING WAS THE WORST!!!!OmG....i LITERALLY CURLED UP AND SHIVERED MAN!!! i'm sooo soo sorry..but i'm not the best scary-movie-watcher..(thanks steven for not screaming at me although i was just soooo annnoying..LOL)

reached home at bout..12 ++..took a shower..and dozed off..

so..that's how the day ended..with a samara movie.LOL.
but it was a SUPERBLY GREAT DAY NO DOUBT!!!
can't wait for the next outing!!!brilliant i tell ya!!
