ok ok ok ...i know it's been LONNGGG since i blogged, and honestly, none of you really know what's currently going on in my life. i apologise. ^ ^
i've been quitelazy busy actually, going for classes, doing my laundry, hanging out with friends, that i kinda forgot about the existence of my blog. so teruk lah...maaf maaf
so anyway, i'll try to summarize what's been going on since i arrived.
we'll start with week one.
PRE-WEEK ONE (as in arrival)
i arrived, dumped my suitcase on the floor and walked about campus with minchiee on day one. i then met jia yun who lives one floor below me, and that nite itself, we all hung out to play pool in the common room. quite fun...^ ^
so basically, i met lotsa ppl around uni, and on the third day, we hung out at one of our rooms til 1 am plus...not bad for ppl whom just got to know each other.
on the third day of arriving, we all headed down to victoria nite market where a few seniors led the way. not bad...managed to see tzemeng there, although i so badly wanted to meet suet ning but i had to go back early... =(
WEEK ONE (RICHARDSON 0-WEEK)
i suppose the most interesting event that happened in week one would be the toga party that we had in the richardson common room, organized by the 0-week members.
you know julius caesar and the white robe he wears all the time??yea..that was the main dress code for the party. EVERYONE was expected to wear one and attend and of course...everyone used bedsheets. what else?? ^ ^
it's quite cool how everyone came in bedsheets, and danced the nite away..(yeaa..they had disco lights on and a hired dj to play the songs!!!oh..and booze as well..although the deputy college head (denuja) said i couldn't drink coz i'm under 18...but...hehehe..u know me lahhh....^ ^), after the toga party, a few of us just lay on the grass in bed sheets and talked a lil and made fun of each other, and then crashed someone's rooms and chatted til the wee hours, and then we all headed back to sleep...LOVEEED THIS EVENT!!!
we also had a trip to sidetracked, which was basically all about go-karting, arcades, and some laser maze like thing. not bad, really... ^ ^
we also had a kinda ice-breaker orientation week where we played games and had freee food all the way. after the whole games session, there was a karaoke session, and i know most of the s2-rians won't believe this, but HEYYYYY...I CAN SING!!!WAHHAHAHA...don't ask me, ask the PS2. it rated my singing...and i'm proud of it...^ ^
so well, lots happened in week one, but i can't remember, so i'll just be posting pictures up and stuff like that. the main thing to remember here is...FREE FOOOOODDDDDDDDD!!!!!! breakfast in the morning, lunch in the afternoon, and dinner at nite......YUMMMm..although most of the time, they serve us with bbq food. but anywayyyy....yeaaaaa....LOL
WEEK 2
this is where things get less happy-go-lucky like, as classes began officially on the 28th of february ( i started a day later than the rest as i went for the transitional camp in phillip island. it wasn't too bad, but i really missed my room in the hall and i missed home in malaysia a lot at this point of time..LOL)
it's kinda hard for me, as my timetable changes every week. REALLY...
and my contact hours are 28 -30 hours per week, and i do have sessions where i go on for FOUR HOURS straight with no break at all, and practical (BLS first aid) for 3 hours. i usually start at 8, rarely 9, and end either at 3 or 5.
SOMETIMES, i do get a weird break in the middle, for example 2 hours with nothing to do, but hang around the campus area til my next class..lectures are quite boring, but tutorials aren't really bad!! and they have this thing here where almost everything is self-directed learning, meaning own research and own info kinda thing. i'm not quite used to it yet, but i hope i will be soon.
WEeK 3
went down to the city on the saturday, and met up with the s2rians!!!! met tzemeng, yiping, denny, weichuen and suetning!!!!they all look mighty happy to me, so i guess eveyrone is coping well!!!!!!
so well, that's about it. i've been here for about 3 weeks already!!!time really flies man..no doubt, i miss everyone of you!!!! i hope u monashirians have fun at uni and to those in other parts of aussie..TAKE CARE!!!!!autumn...YAYYYYY...and to S2-rians....HUGZ!!!!!
