ohhhh

there're definitely not enough movies out in the cinema.

i've been to the cinema so ever often, that i'm desperate for new movies to come out, and rejoice on thursdays coz that's when they release the movies.

i've watched allllll the interesting shows and even the malaysian shows, namely cinta and cicakman. oh yea, there's still the horror flicks, but i'm no big fan. so yeah.. LOL

and since i bet half of ya'll won't bother watching cicakman, here's a lil comment on what i thought of it.

honestly,

i thought it wasn't THATTT BAd.
and the animation ( meaning the background, not movements) were pretty impressive.
the storyline was ok larhhhh...boleh boleh lahhh
the characters were dumb
the dialogue was lame
and some of the acting was crap.

but you know, some parts were pretty funny...

and this is what cicakman is actually about..

basically you have the villain, prof klon who produces vaccines. but predictably, he's also the person that comes up with the virus.
so he has these two workers rite (one from scenario, one from kru - the director)
they carry out experiments and shit.
and sooo..they usually test rats and stuff. but nooo..suddenly prof klon decides to test lizards intstead. coz it's cheaper or some bull along that lines lahh
then the scenario guy, he accidentally lets them go and he doesn't know. and one of the lizards fall into his coffee and he drinks the coffee.

THAT, my friends, is how he gets the whole lizard genes thingie.
*rolls eyes*

so he becomes cicakman and crap lahh..

and you know how superman is afraid of cryptonite and how he becomes weak when brought too near??

our dear cicakman is afraid of..

rubber.
as in latex.
namely rubber bands.
*rolls eyes yet again*
(i think he prolly can't use condoms too)

the logic behind this, as explained in the movie, is because lizards are always shot at with rubber bands.

so that is why....cicakman...is afraid.
of...
rubber.....

so anyhow, prof klon has this dumb plan of clonning the ministers and taking over the world.
then to fight cicakman, who else better to clone than the person himself??

so he clones cicakman, and suddenly, the cloned cicakman speaks in cantonese.

......
....
and then the ori cicakman goes... pirated not as good as ori.

haihh...

and prof klon has two sidekicks, ginger 1 and ginger 2 who are damn freaking annoying. but i found it cute how one of them steals his letters, not for the words, but for the stamps. he collects stamps you see...so..mm..

but overall, it's an ok movie lah...
to watch and chill out and laugh

i laughed.
almost throughout actually
but then again, i laugh at practically anything and everything...so i suggest you can a second opinion....

til then..

oh..and eragorn reminds me sooooo much of a mini mini lotr.
quite disappointed by it actually..
the guy is too much of a poser and i prefer if the dragon was male or didn't speak.
oh welll...

can't wait for night in the museum!!!
