of cooking and eating and eating and eating.....

so heyyyyy....great news...i've long long overcomed my homesickness!!!!WEHEHEHHE..well, mainly i was homesick because i was really ill, and i felt quite...depressed upon recovering. i have no idea why though.........

i was talking to issac that day, and somehow we reached upon the topic of cooking.

AND NOW SHE (I) WOULD PROUDLY LIKE TO ANNOUNCE.......


THAT SHE(I) CAN COOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you count vegetables, luncheon meat, and stuff like that la... ^ ^

we've all got cooking partners/groups, me being paired with jia yun(stairway-mate) out of personal choices.

she(jia yun) CANN cook, which is great, coz then i shall be learning from her in every way.

so far, we've already cooked fried rice, herb soup, tom yam, some assorted-like-campur-saja dish..and so on so on

it's really cool how we all use the common kitchen at the same time. everyone will be laughing while frying, whilst ppl like me go around, butting into others' cooking and demanding recipes that i may never ever try out.

after we're all done cooking, we sit at the "dining table" and eat away.........
of course, we steal each other's food a lot, saying that we're sooooo in it for the taste.........but what we usually do is to compare all our food at once. who cooked the best, who's the most efficient..and so on so forth, which is honestly quite entertaining at times. LOL

then we just sit there and talk and talk and talk.

since arriving in melbourne, i think the one thing i've done the most....is to chatter away. (p/s: note the word chatter....^ ^) i'm not surprised. but then again, who is?? :P

monday nights are usually spent in the mess dining hall.
we all meet up at about 9.30 pm and have cakes and coffee as a late nite supper thing and basically chat the night away. surprisingly, the cakes at the dining hall are realllllllyyy good, which is in total contrast with their evening meals that they serve everyday. OWH, but their desserts in the evenings are just gorgeous!!!!!

i guess the chef is very specialized in making desserts. either that, or they hire caterers for their desserts.

i'm still very malaysian-ized........don't plan to get australianized anytime soon.....
