LMAO
faheem broke one of our big swirly chairs today.
LMAO!!
not a very nice thing, laughing at ppl, but i figured it's just worth the recognition it deserves :P
and i'm not laughing AT him falling off, i'm laughing AT the CHAIR breaking into two parts. HAHHAhahahh!!!!
and yes ppl, apparently i CAN sing SOME chinese songs. *proudness*
i seriously don't get it how mandarin-speaking-ppl pronounce the chinese characters.
coz i, for one, CANNOT speak mandarin at all. BLAH... 5 tones for each word...WALAOEH.. talk about being able to sing while speaking all the time -_-"
hey hey..maybe that's why chinese songs really DO sound emo, as compared to the english emo songs that just fail in the emo department. it's like, super cannot-make-it or TJ, as always referred to by tzemeng.
just try listening to both the chinese and english emo songs.
tell me which one sounds sadder, and which one sounds more meaningful.
you don't have to understand the lyrics (but it helps if you does), just listen to the tone and the way the song is portrayed. the emotions buried within each song..
i bet you..
chinese songs win hands down.
maybe it's because of the pronounciation of each word and how the language is carried out.
if you notice, chinese( i mean mandarin speaking ppl, not bananas like me) have loads and heaps of intonations and expressions while speaking, most of the time portraying off as feelings and emotions.
whereas in the average normal english speaking person (referring mostly to ang mohs), they speak in a very monotonous slang. worse when presenting something or when making a serious speech.
so it's the same thing.
speaking.
singing.
if speak oso you speak damn monotonous and erased of all emotions, how to sing properly lah until you can make ppl cry..you tell me..
you get what i mean?
:P
but oh well, i do love all emo songs, english or chinese :)
-----------------------------------------------
yes, i complained to a few of you about how i couldn't sleep in the afternoon for the past few days.
where i couldn't meet my 3-4 hour nap demands in the afternoon.
ok lah.
it's back.
should have enjoyed it while it lasted.
now all i feel is lethargy and a great pull from the bed.
babi bengang.
aih.
