why aren't our toilets like that??

i love the toilets in uni.

they're always clean (as compared to malaysia's toilets), there're always toilet rolls in them, and the best...there're ALWAYS WORDS written on the wall.

it's nice because while you're doing your business in the toilet, you can entertain yourself by reading off the wall.

you won't have to bring magazines, or newspapers into the cubicles anymore, and ppl can never tell if you're taking a crap in the toilet, or just having a very long pee...
i always chuckle when i see ppl carrying newspapers into the toilets. LOL!

anyhow, to the toilet i went.
and by far, the most amusing thing i've read off the wall goes something like this...

~ last nite when i slept, i dreamt that i ate a 10 kilo marshmallow.
but this morning when i woke up, my pillow was gone ~

LOL!!!!!i freaking laughed in the toilet lah..

i quickly took my handphone out and started keying it in. so memorable!!
unfortunately i accidentally deleted it..but it's ok, coz i still remember it!!!

it's weird how i remember things that are of no use to me and how i forget things that are really important to me

this brain is one screwed up mechanism..

blarh

bahhh

lectures are so abominably boring..

i love that word

abominable

readers of tintin would know!!

i used to read loads of tintin back in the old days.
the old days when ppl still used words like frocks and mantelpiece, and most things were
described as being dainty and petite. {suddenly i feel all girly....in a very victorian way}

so yeah. tintin.

i remember how his buddy captain haddock would always curse at things coz he's just this temperamental old fart. but he's so adorable and i don't hate him. he's very very amusing and makes everything humerous. LOL

he used to say things like

~ blistering barnacles ~
~ pockymark ~
~ abominable ~

and so on so forth..i can barely remember them, but that's the extent of my knowledge.
give me some credit ok, it's been long since i've read any of them.

i loveeeee asterix and obelix as well!!!!
i never really noticed that they were the telephone symbols until a few years ago, which is bad lah. but knowing me, i'm blur most of the time, so excuse me k.

asterix = *( but bigger)
obelix = #

interesting.

i loved both the dogs in both the comics as well. snowy and dogmatrix.
i loved the way they named their characters in asterix and obelix.

------------------------

lately, as noticed by many ppl, i've been a lil bit more subdued???
i didn't even realize until my tute mate said i've been a lot more quieter these days.

i honestly have got no comments..

---------------------------

i love my hammer jacks!!!
i think that's what they're called though..
i kinda got sick of the earphones that i was using b4 this to plug in to my ipod, so i went and got the hammerjacks!!
hammerjacks are like your basic earphones but they go into the ear canal. it's rubbery at the tips.
they kinda block the loss of sound and enhances the bass, so u hear everything much more clearly, which is cool!!! and it doesn't drop out that often which annoys me a lot. it's like having a subwoofer in your ear. WAHAHAHHAHA

then tzemeng msged me today and asked if he should get the ipod video, which is the one that i have.
banyaknyaaaaaaaaaa soalannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

but cannot blame him what rite.
just to make sure his buy is worth the money.
LOL

GET THE WHITE ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
~mine's the black...~

ish....

----------------------------

exams exams exams..

need to study..need to study...

GAMBATTE!!!!!!!!!!!
oh bugger..

can't u even leave me a msg or a comment so that i know u dropped by??

i know u came.

i know u did.

i'm too tired to move

what to do what to do

i hate studying. darn it.

it's almost impossible for me to complete my syllabus now for the mid sem test next week. darn it.

and even so, i still can't get myself to sit down and study properly. darn it.

and if you're sighing with annoyance or frustration because i can't seem to stop rambling on about my study problems, then leave. darn it.

how come no one ever sets test on the amount of fun u have?
like the more fun u have in one week, the higher marks u get?
the more ppl u talk to, the higher the marks u get.
the more movies you watch, the higher the marks u get.
and if u ever attempt to study, then they'll deduct your marks by 10%.

.....

but then again, thinking about it, the idea is quite dumb actually.
everyone will be stupid then, and there would be no doctors, lawyers, accountants, engineers and all these jobs around anymore.

then you wouldn't have shopping malls and then i can't go shopping anymore!!!! :P
there'd be no doctors, and ppl will then suffer and suffer....which is obviously bad.
and the worst thing is i'd have no knowledge to talk about and to think with. i'd be this empty walking vessel strolling around, playing all day, clanging my head with other empty vessels too.

and then again, this is why everyone needs to study and sit for real hardcore tests.
darn it.

i knew i've always been like that.
half nerd,
half party animal.

darn it.

my 556th post. how cool is that???

august 20th

note to self: STUDY!!!!!!!!!!

i've been trying to study for the past week.
like, trying really hard. sitting down, opening the book, flipping to the page that contains the syllabus, then referring to the objectives for the week, and then turning towards my laptop and end up chatting/watching a movie/surfing/looking at pictures.

either that, or i'll be on the phone or goin off to lepak around with friends.

OMG!!
i need some self control!!!
i need to force myself to study otherwise i'd be dead!!
especially when this mid sem contains syllabi of both sem 1 and sem 2!!!
SHIT LAH
how to fucking study and remember everything??
all the pharmacology, histology, anatomy, physiology, and all the annoying XXXXX-ogy.
die lah die la

hahhah..sexology just crossed my mind.
who was it in S2 who had a degree in sexology again??? :D LOL

anyhow, i went to chadstone this morning (what was it again about TRYING to study??).
eh..don't blame me, eh.
i was planning to leave at 9.30, reach at 10 then buy a friend's present then shop then be back by 1.30 then study.

BLARHHH

the plan SUPER FAILED!!!

first of all, cab only came at 11.30 am, and then we ended up shopping all the way til 4 ++. then went to watch an aussie footy game at the field betwen richo and roberts.
only really really reached my room at about 9.

imagine. 1.30, 9 pm.
freaking hell!!
7.5 hours behind original plan!!!!!
shucks.
how to study u tell me??
howwww to study. sigh

anyhow, spinning away from the topic, does anyone remember the show SISTER ACT at all??
it used to be one of my favourite movies!!!! well, favourite mostly because of the songs in them. i love how the choir sings and how whoopi's hair is all puffed up at the end of the show.
LOL!
i always laugh and stare at hairstyles like that. not that it's ugly or anything. it just amazes me. i gape in awe....

and then i laugh..

on another league, 1 LITRE OF TEARS is a japanese drama series that i just discovered 5 days ago. i watched and finished the whole entire thing in that 5 days but there are only 11 episodes so don't complain ok. LOL
go watch it.

it's really touching and meaningful and gives a whole new meaning to life.
i think the show somehow influenced me in a way.
it's basically about this 15 year old girl, aya ikeuchi, who gets diagnosed with spinocerebellar atrophy. it's this incurable disease where your cerebellum starts dying and u lose control of movement and speech. ironically, the other parts of your brain works pretty damn well, and you're still aware of the surroundings. you know what's going on, and you know everything you knew before. basically you don't lose your knowledge. you just lose mobility and communication.

so anyhow, throughout the movie, you kinda get to witness how she goes through each phase and how strong she remains even when faced with many many obstacles.

as expected, loadsa tears will flow. not only from the characters, but from you as well.
but you don't really start crying until episode 6 or 7.

confirm cry every episode after that.

the best part is...

it's a TRUE STORY.
it's a fucking true story.

they quote from the real-life-aya's diary throughout all the episodes. then at the end of every episode, they show pictures of the-real-aya.

her courage, the story line, the support of her family, the quotes plus the music just wraps the whole series up beautifully.
i just stare at the screen in wonderment after every episode(episodes 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 at least).

i've been promoting the drama here in melbourne amongst friends, but alllll don want to listen you know. one say toooo slow for her liking. one say toooooo sad for his liking and he doesn't want to cry. i'm at a lost.

but nvm. youuuuu( the reader) shall listen to me ok.
go get the series.
inside note: the main character(aya) is damn cute!!she's very anime like and posseses big baby doll eyes. the doctor who treats her oso damn handsome wei..hhahahaha

blessings to all...

of random thoughts and updates...

howdy ho!!

12.06 pm and i have just awoken. LOL!!
a whole bunch of us went to mackers (mc.d, we call it mackers here. do we call it mackers in malaysia?) at about 3 am in the morning and just chilled for a lil while there and i bought the hotcakes, bacon thingie and an english muffin for my breakfast!! well, my lunch now actually. the hotcakes are damn freaking goood!!!!! but i don't know why they're hotcakes though. they should be called hot pancakes..:S

anyhowwwww

i've posted pictures from rawson, resident's ball and MUISS ball

for those who don't know, i went for a rural trip like thing to rawson (yes, rawson is rural. like, really rural). it's part of the curricular of my course where everyone is required to spend one week in a rural area in first year. it'll be 2 weeks in 2nd year, and a whole semester in third year or something...sure die at that time.....
this rawson place was reserved for the monash malaysia students..

it was reallllyyy fun though at rawson!!
we headed to mt. st gwinnear to play with the snow and visited the gold mine, kinda like a field trip.
but not all is fun and games as the other days were spent visiting community centres, clinics, councils, GARDS and so on so forth. we had to write journals everyday and report back to the tutors. there were lots of note-taking and understanding going on. we also talked heaps to the people from rawson, asking them what it's like and just basically trying to get a grip of the whole living experience.

the highlights of rawson would of course be the field trip larh..
we took the bus up to mt. st. gwinnear, and then when we were there, we climbed to the peak!!
......
although a few of us didn't. hahahahha..we were busy doing other things, like having snowball fights and stuff..

i made a snow angel!!!!!!!!!!!! but it's a lil weird lah..

it was sooooooooo cold up there!!!!!!! while coming down it was so slippery and everyone fell like at least half a million times..

it's not as easy as it looks.

after that we all plopped by the gold mine. we had a tour into the mine itself, and had a go at panning for gold. (panning is that thing u do when u hold this bowl like thing and swirl swirl it in the river)

what the lady basically did was to provide us each with a bag of dirt, soil and REAL GOLD!!! but they were all in specks......
so u empty the bag into your plastic pan then u swirl swirl as patiently as possible in the river.

i was damnnnnn impatient i couldn't stand it.

i dumped the whole freaking thing into the river and decided to just watch and laugh at the rest of the peeps. HAHHAHAHAHAH..bazir masa lah one by one go and do. sien..LOL

OHH!! we also visited a science centre to understand how a power plant actually works. it's important ok for clinical studies and i'm not joking. u gotta understand the root of every mechanism or cause to really treat the problem. so there!! it's not as mo-liu (useless) as it sounds.
we also had time to drop by a shopping mall. it's called mid valley. OMG!!
MID VALLEY!

i was told it's the biggest one around at that area and that got me really excited. some action at last!!

blooooodyyyy HELLLLLLLLLL

it was as small as...i dunno.
pokok pangkal it was realy really small!!!! ahhhhh
but i managed to buy some things there though. so it wasn't all that bad. :P

i was sick the entire time (i've been sick for 4 weeks now....) but i kinda got a lil better in that week. so all is goooodddd

----------------------------------

resident's ball was the BOMB!!!!!!! (headed there with the girls)
that's all i can say..
the place was great( i tried to post pictures up of the place but blogger wouldn't let me. assholess...) the food was yum (the entree and the dessert) although i didn't really eat the main course coz everyone was just everywhere, socializing and taking pictures. and then there were heaps of dancing goin on!!
everytime i finished taking photos or dancing a lil while and was heading back to the table to eat, one of those brilliant r&b songs will come on then we'll head to the dancefloor again.

MUISS ball was quite cool as well. it's an international ball though, so most of the ppl there would have been asian, or non-asian. quite a few locals as well, but i'm not part of the club, so i didn't really know that many ppl there, although i knew everyone at my table and a few others!! ok lahhh....the food was super yum. super duper yum

the decoration was a lot better as well compared to the resident's ball.
loadsa big balloons everywhere and green glass stones on the table. the resident's ball's tables were loaded with silver stars on the table, but there were no balloons, so MUISS wins.

OHHH!!! the MUISS thingie was also damn cool coz while we were signing in and registering at the lounge outside, there were waiters going around with finger food on trays. COOL RITE!! damn like the movies larh

the after party was seriously damn good also wei!!
it was at this club called platform 1 and it's quite a nice place although it looks a lil dodgy on the outside. the inside is supposedly made to look like a subway. that's what someone said. dunno how true that is, but whatever. i liked the place.
we didn't have to line up, and i got a drink for free!! heehhe..how cool is that..

we ended up coming back only at 6 am ++ after having supper at mackers after that afterparty. LOL!
coolness

ok..i'm bored and you're bored of reading my life story thus far. i'll stop here. ever so suddenly. pictures below.

:):)
