so yep.
i'm back in malaysia and rocking your malaysian world!!! YEAAAHHHH!!!!
pwoar pwoar!!!!
although i greatly miss australia, apart of me is still glad that i'm home!!
glad to see those familiar faces around. hehe
unpacking has been a great torture to me, which explains why i'm blogging amidst half-emptied suitcases, some bubble wrap, cutleries, clothing and other what-nots.
unpacking is such a torture, packing is a GREAT TORTURE AS WELL!!
although i'm pretty proud i got everything packed up in about 5 days.
imagine, 1 year; 5 days. not bad rite..it's either my life there was pretty sad and my whole life span of one year could be undone in 5 days, or i'm a really great packer.
i'm pretty sure it's the latter one though :P
fitted all my stuff into 3 suitcases, and 2 big boxes which i sent my air freight.
and i keep wondering where all my money goes to...
surprisingly, my mom is pretty ok with the number of clothing that i bought.
she reckons i'm changing my whole entire wardrobe though, seeing the amount that i bought.
did spend quite a bit there, but no regrets.
OHH!! only regrets of not buying more actually.. LOL! i guess some ppl never learn huh??
well things to remember of my last few moments in aussie are such as:
1) being overweight in hand luggage
2) LOSING MY AIRPLANE TICKET!!!!!!
3) and of course the last time seeing richo and the journey to the airport. sigh
i think it hasn't really sunk in to me yet that i'm actually in malaysia
i still feel as if i'm in aussie, and that i'm on vacation here in malaysia.
hah!
i think it'll take quite a while before it really sinks in, the same way it took me two weeks to realize that i'm away from family and alone in aussie
i couldn't sleep at all on the plane, so i resorted to watching just my luck and click. i dind't manage to finish click though. was eating and playing battleship in between.
i did, however, manage to doze off for like 5 minutes and woke up just as we landed. typical.
LOL
generally, i honestly feel more australian than malaysian.
i know, i know, traitor. but hey, i'll just need some time to adapt back ok?? living independently overseas for one year changes things aight?
like how i went to 7 eleven to reload my hp line (which is by the way the same) and i went up to the cashier
sw: oh hey, can i please get a reload of 30 dollars for maxis?
lady: *stares wide eyed*..uh... maxis??
sw: *feeling guilty already* ohh..ya ya, nak reload tiga puluh maxis ya..terima kasih
i think she felt weird because i said hi to her
so i spoke in malay to get rid of the awkwardness.
i really really need to brush up on my malay. i think it has pretty much deteriorated since leaving for aussie.
then that night at careffour, i had problems with the stuff there because they don't have as many varieties as in aussie
i couldn't get the dips that i wanted
i couldn't get the nachos that i wanted
heck, they don't even sell SALSA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
habis habis
sw: dad, do they have dips here??
dad: WAHH..don't come back and ask for all your australian stuff. i don't even know what you're talking about
sw: ok... *blush*
but i'm glad though at least they've cheese that i wanted. yum!!
crackers and cheeseeeee !!!!!!
relating to that, mom and dad thinks i've put on way way way too much weight. so they keep saying how rounded i've become, how fat i've become and how thin i used to be.
so basically, they're controlling my food intake all over again, like they did in july *rolls eyes*
i was eating my cheese and crackers and they didn't let me finish it!!
mom: sw, ok. you eat only one piece, the rest you put in the fridge and you can continue eating tmr.
sw: WHAT?!why??
mom: you need to watch your weight. so fat already
sw: rite rite..
so put it in the fridge i did.
the next day, WHAM!!! they're all gone!!!
someone ATE MY CHEESE AND CRACKERS!!!!! *WAILS WAILS*
then my mom goes,
oh..me and daddy think that the cheese and crackers are quite nice. we're not so sure bout the cream cheese spread though.
*GASP GASP*
but oh well, all i have to do is slice the cheese up again
hehhehehe..
and then again, i'm pretty surprised about how things have been goin on lately.
my parents are treating me a lil differently. i think they're beginning to accept that i'm growing up and maturing into a bbbeeeaauuuu--tiiii---fooollll ladaaayyy
*blush*
mom didn't even question me that much about goin out at 11 pm. she only told me to get back early.
she didn't complain about the clothing that i bought, which is a lil bit more revealing than usual
she didn't complain about me wearing a bikini
she didn't complain about me piercing my ears. (not much anyway, prolly a lil, but when she saw them with her own eyes, she admitted that they were actually quite nice)
and oh, you HEARD THAT RIGHT!!!
i pierced my eyes!!!
again and again!!
meaning, i've got 6 piercings altogether!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm proud. i really am.
proud for being able to go through the pain and for having the guts in the first place.
and i guess being around malaysians, proud for being able to withstand the looks and shuns that i may get from ppl around.
oh whatever, some ppl really need to grow up.
just because i have 6 piercings doesn't mean i'm gonna be a killer or something.
and it doesn't make me less of a doctor, so THERE!!!
i was so tempted to pierce my belly button as well, but i guess there're limits.
i think mom wouldn't be so happy with the belly button piercing, which was the only thing that stopped me from getting one.
oh well, i'll discuss things with her next time :P
i still want blue highlights though, but i guess i'll scare my patients away. darn it.
but all in all, i'm really happy that i'm home, and that i'm being treated differently.
it's as though my parents were expecting a newer me and as long as i knew my priorities, they'd be fine with it
seeee???i have an understanding family. YAY!!!
owh, and what else has changed since i went away??
my family members have gotten more tech savvy. more tech up-to-date
i used to be the one with all the latest gadgest and gizmos.
then when i got back, bro and dad both had new handphones, both phones a lot better than mine.
bro and dad both had new 80 gb ipods which is better than my 30gb ipod.
but i still love MY ipod coz.....just because.. LOL!
hahah..i find it pretty hillarious really.
but the one thing i learnt in aussie, is to not be materialistic
so even if my gadgets aren't up to date i don't really mind as long as they are functionable.
i'm happy with what i have now.
*smiles widely*
but clothings are exceptional ok.
so, smile smile smile that i'm back!!!
oh, and finally blogging as well.
so there, tangachi
you have something to read now.
LOL!
*wink wink*
ta you all
